Personal statement

Sarah has worked in Further and Higher Education in Australia and Scotland for many years in different roles, including Academic Advisor, Academic Skills Lecturer, Library Manager and Learning Enhancement Advisor. She works collaboratively with, and provides specialist advice to, colleagues within CELCIS, and relevant subject experts, to teaching and professional staff to develop a range of innovative and engaging online activities, courses and learning resources. She is the Learning Technologist for the MSc in Child and Youth Care Studies and runs the FutureLearn MOOC Caring for Children Moving Alone. She holds a BA (Hons), an MA, PG Cert in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
